Do you find yourself struggling so much that at the end of the day you just collapse?
Are you so exhausted that when you get up in the morning you have no energy?
If this sounds like you then you are not “going with the flow”. I used to work for a company (who will remain nameless) & there was a sign on the wall “Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow”. Now I looked at that most days and it was like an affirmation – after a week or two I started to see my attitude to work change – I was more disruptive, I wasn’t “nice” to be around, in fact I was being more and more challenging to the organisation and instead of moving with the flow of the business – I was actually fighting against it.
Have you ever found yourself in this situation? Or something similar?
The moment I realised what was going on I ripped the sign down off the wall – here I was coming to a job I actually enjoyed & I was hating it – all because of 1 sign – that was just 1 person’s belief and I accepted it. For a couple of weeks anyway. After the sign came down I made a decision – to “Go With The Flow” – my goodness what a difference – I started getting up and arriving at work early – I even wanted to work past my finishing time because I was having such a good time!!!
Upon realising that Going With the Flow was a good thing I started applying it to other areas in my life – with my family, with my friends, my hobbies etc and what a difference it made – things just started to get easier – even if they were challenging to achieve – it was actually easier to do so.
Today I live by the adage “Go With The Flow”. Because of it – I get to smile every day, enjoy every moment and feel the love and joy in my life – no matter what is happening around me.
I suggest you try it and “Go With the Flow”
Let me know how it works for you…
In Love, Light & Laughter
